Bracket Info 

For the 2017 ArcelorMittal Dofasco Vanier cup, the winner of the Mitchell Bowl and Uteck Bowl will advance to play in Hamilton in the game of their lives. The Mitchell Bowl, comprised of RSEQ and CWUAA top seeds will play in Canada West on Sunday November 19th to determine who will advance to the Vanier Cup the following week. On the other side of the country, the Atlantic will host the OUA vs. AUS championship game, where the winner of the Uteck Bowl will become Team A of the Vanier Cup championship game.

Game Time

The 53rd Vanier Cup is taking place Saturday November, 25th at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton, ON at 1:00pm EST. Gates will open at 12:00pm EST, 1 hour prior to kickoff. Click here for an event guide for the Vanier Cup! (https://vaniercup.com – update link!)

Box Office Hours:

The Box Office will open at 9:00am on gameday and remain open until kickoff of the 2nd half. The box office is location Beechwood Avenue outside gate 1A.
Note: Please arrive at box office early if picking up tickets.
Only the original purchaser may pick up tickets and must present the credit card used to place the order and valid photo ID.

Group Tickets

Group tickets for the 53rd Vanier Cup are only available over the phone and on a first-come first-serve basis. Fans that purchase group tickets are eligible to receive up to 50% off regular priced tickets, depending on group size.

In addition to exclusive discounts, groups can be eligible for various in-game or post-game experiences such a participating in opening ceremonies, exclusive gifting and more.

Tim Hortons Field provides an exclusive and luxurious club level experience within the stadiums hospitality lounge. In the second level of the stadium, you and your group can be seated in the best seats in the house, with a fantastic view of the field, and fantastic catering included.

Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued. All sales are final sale.

Babies in Seats Policy/Children 

Children two years of age and under at the time of competition (November 25th, 2017) do not require a ticket for entry but must sit in a guardian’s lap, and not take up their own additional seat. Any child over the age of two must have a ticket for entry. 

In/Out Policy

There is NO stadium re-entry. If you exit the stadium at any time during the event, you cannot re-enter with a used ticket.

Accessibility

Wheelchair accessible seating is available. Washrooms and facilities are fully accessible. All accessible seating tickets can be purchased by calling 1-905-547-2287.

Family Washrooms

Family washrooms are located throughout the stadium. Please check with stadium hosting staff for the nearest location within the venue.

Prohibited Items 

For the safety and security of all guests it is prohibited to bring the following items in to Tim Hortons Field. All individuals and belongings are subject to search. Any guest in possession of any of the following items will be asked to return the item(s) to their car, check the item(s) at a Guest Services Desk, or dispose of the item(s) in a garbage bin at security inspection.

Prohibited items include:

  • Outside alcohol
  • Illegal drugs and illicit substances
  • Weapons of any kind (knives, box-cutters, firearms, etc. or items deemed hazardous by Security and/or Police)
  • Incendiary devices (fireworks, smoke bombs, etc.)
  • Outside food* and beverage
  • Coolers, glass or metal bottles, cans, and thermoses/bottles larger than 1L in volume
  • Musical instruments, air horns, powered megaphones
  • Electronic noisemakers
  • Obscene/inappropriate signs
  • Pets/animals with the exception of service animals
  • Projectiles (beach balls, footballs, balls, inflatable devices such as balloons, etc.)
  • Poles/sticks of any sort
  • Clothing or material with profane language or obscene graphics
  • Headwear or clothing that may impede the view of other guests
  • Laser pointers
  • Seat cushions larger than 15” x 15”
  • Baby strollers**
  • Bicycles***, scooters, rollerblades, and skateboards
  • Umbrellas
  • Professional photography/video equipment

The Director of Security or his designate reserve the right to prohibit any additional items deemed dangerous or inappropriate. These items are subject to change at any time.

*Guests with medical issues (e.g., diabetes, etc.) that require special exemptions for outside food and beverage are asked to please contact the Tiger-Cats head office (phone 905-547-2287 ) 24 hours prior to game time to acquire permission. Levy Restaurants offers a wide variety of food and beverage options to suit many allergy restrictions. Guests may call in advance with specific dietary needs.

**Strollers or wheelchairs can be stored at any Guest Services Desk.
These items are not permitted in general seating areas. Collapsible strollers that can fit under your seat and clear of aisle ways are permitted in the stands.

***Bicycles can be locked at bike racks at the Pioneer and Scotiabank gates.

Bag Policy

Any backpack or bag will be searched on entry to the stadium for safety. Guests will also be subject to a security check upon entry to the stadium. All guests are required to cooperate in inspections and pat downs. 

Camera Policy 

Guests may use personal cameras and mobile phones to take photos inside the venue. Cameras measuring more than 200mm in length with the lens attaches are not permitted. Video Cameras or video recording devices including GO-PRO’s are not permitted at the event.

ATM 

There are various ATMs located on site throughout the stadium. 

Alcohol Policy 

Alcohol Service will begin at 12:00PM on the day of the event. Event staff do their best to ensure alcohol is consumed responsibly, and hold the right to refuse the service of alcohol to any guest.  

Food Services

Stadium concession stands will be open for service for the duration of the event.

All concourses maximize width to ensure quick and easy passage within the concourses to concession stands, washrooms, merchandise stands and ultimately seats.

In-seat service is available in premium hospitality areas throughout Tim Hortons Field.

A variety of payment options are available to facilitate quick and easy service at concession outlets.

Concession stands on the main concourses of both sides of the stadium provide views from the concourse to the field of play to ensure fans don’t miss any of the action.

Smoking Policy 

Smoking is NOT permitted within Tim Hortons Field or on City of Hamilton Property. This includes the use of e-cigarettes.

Please follow the directions of law enforcement, security, or any C.A.T. team member and present your ticket when asked.

Failure to abide by any rules or regulations is ground for ejection from the stadium without refund.

Lost and found is located at Gate 3 Premium Entrance (facing Melrose Ave.) at the Security Desk.

Parking
